TRAMS Offers Live Connect with TravTech

TRAMS announced it now offers Live Connect functionality for the TravTech Cruise Booking Engine -- CruiseBase II. CruiseBase II is the next generation of TravTech's online cruise reservation system. Using CruiseBase II, travel agents can search, select and quickly book a cruise with all major cruise lines. CruiseBase II is integrated with TRAMS' ClientBase Plus, allowing TRAMS customers to pass client data from their ClientBase Plus system directly to CruiseBase. Using the Live-connect and ResCard features, ClientBase Plus seamlessly passes the client information to the CruiseBase reservation session and upon completion imports the reservation details back into a ResCard for invoicing, printing itineraries and managing other administrative tasks. Agencies with their own web site may install the Consumer Booking Engine (CBE) application on their site, allowing their web visitors to search for cruises and book them on-line, totally automated, and without any agent assistance. CBE is designed to display the agency's own logo and telephone number so that it appears to be fully integrated with the agency's website. Reservations made on CBE can easily be imported in to TRAMS.
