Cruisebase is TravTech’s family of web-based,
travel applications optimized and dedicated for the
cruise segment of the travel industry. It includes support
for customer management, consumer and agent on-line
cruise search and booking and agency accounting optimized
for cruise. It is built based on the latest Microsoft
technology: Web Services, XML and .Net.
The Agent Booking Center (ABC) application allows agents
to keep track of their cruise customers and provides
a multitude of reports related to customer and agent
activity. It includes the Agent Booking Engine (ABE)
and its Cruise Search (CS) module which allow agents
to search for a set of cruises across cruise lines and
destinations based on a rich set of search criteria
and then book a cruise on-line. Using ABE, an agent
may also cancel or make minor changes to an existing
cruise booking.
Agencies that have their own web site may install the
Customer Booking Engine (CBE) application on their site,
allowing their web visitors to search for cruises and
book them on-line, all automatically and without agent
assistance. CBE is designed to display the agency’s
own logo and telephone number so that the CBE application
appears to be fully integrated with the agencies web site.
The Cruisebase family also includes a full-blown Cruise
Accounting application, allowing agencies to keep track
of their revenue stream and associated receivables from
their customers and the cruise lines. Cruise Accounting
is fully integrated with ABC, ensuring ease of use and
data integrity.
